Trofholz President, Yvonne Pire is eager to participate as a Veteran Mentor in the new Service to Suits program at Sierra College. The 2014 Leadership Rocklin Class, under the auspices of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, is coordinating a volunteer mentorship opportunity to assist some of our local Sierra College Veterans. The program was established in appreciation for those who served our country in the Armed Forces and in recognition of the challenges of transitioning to civilian life. The goal of this program is to increase veteran employment potential in the community by creating meaningful mentoring and networking relationships.  The focal point of Service to Suits is the mentor-mentee relationship.  Mentors provide general employment guidance in a one-to-one coaching relationship.

Yvonne is excited to help others in the community with her business experience and background in the U.S. Air Force. She served in both Desert Storm and the aftermath, before starting Trofholz in 2001. She has successfully grown the business, while balancing the busy schedule of her active children and holding multiple leadership roles in the community. Yvonne was matched with a Sierra College Student who recently separated from the Navy and is interested in an information technology career. She hopes to assist in guiding him towards his aspirations and highly encourages other business professionals to reach out to Sierra College to become a mentor to a Veteran.
